The National Health Service (NHS) recently issued guidance that patients can get free prescription medications from a GP on the NHS.
It follows an NHS website that offers free NHS prescriptions. It said patients can buy prescriptions for prescription drugs including Viagra, Cialis and Levitra.
The website warns patients that the NHS can not use a prescription drug from a GP for prescription drugs unless they are prescribed by a member of the public.
“Patients should be able to get free NHS prescriptions only from a doctor at a hospital,” it said.
It said the NHS can only prescribe the prescriptions of a doctor and cannot prescribe for patients with health conditions. It said a doctor can only prescribe a prescription if the patient is on any other health-care professional’s advice.
“We will only provide information for people who are looking to get prescriptions for prescription medicines to their GP,” the NHS said.
It said patients must go through the consultation process, and not only from a GP, but also from a registered nurse or nurse practitioner.
“If you are a patient who is looking for free prescription drugs from a GP, you can request a referral from a registered nurse or nurse practitioner,” it said.
A spokesman for the National Health Service, which represents the NHS, said patients can get free prescriptions if they are prescribed by a doctor at a GP or nurse practitioner.
The NHS has issued an alert to patients that a patient who is referred for free prescriptions from a GP, nurse or doctor, has a consultation with a pharmacist, GP or pharmacist. A pharmacist can then dispense prescriptions for the patient.
“Our pharmacist can ask for a prescription and dispense a medicine,” a spokesman said.
A spokesman for the National Health Service, which represents the NHS, said patients can get free prescriptions only from a doctor at a hospital, and not from any patient.
The National Health Service said it would respond to requests.
